Female Food Addicts Ask:
"Why Wont You Guys Help Us?"

One Bite Fellowship offers help to men only -- from a uniquely male perspective.

OBF believes that food addiction is a potentially deadly addictive disorder. Our fellowship also understands that women, as well as men, need support in order to overcome this malady. However, we feel that we can best reach the most men who are still suffering from this problem by offering them support in a MALE-only environment.

Many men, especially those who are in early recovery, do not feel comfortable seeking help in support groups, treatment programs and other weight loss organizations that are dominated by women. OBF offers these men a level of safety they ca not find elsewhere.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you are certainly aware that many "For Women Only" eating disorder treatment programs and support groups already exist, while virtually all of the rest of them are dominated by women.

OBF hopes to help "level the playing field" for men struggling from food addiction. Support from a male perspective is typically not even considered important by most treatment programs, support groups and other organizations that address food addiction and weight related issues.

While OBF offers help to men only, women are obviously welcome to view our website and purchase our literature – if you can benefit from the OBF approach to recovery, more power to you! Just don't expect to be join our e-mail community, post to our message board or attend our face-to-face groups.
